Matthias Seibert is a house music artist from Cologne, Germany. Born out of the iconic haze of ‘90s soulful and handbag house, Matthias spent his early days revelling in the largely popular sounds of Jeremy Healy, Brandon Block, Boris Dlugosch, Frankie Knuckles. and many more.
Traversing through the kaleidoscopic evolution of house music over the last three decades, Matthias has adapted his sound time and time over to stay current and up to date with the latest house music trends. His sound can be described as predominantly house with a bass-heavy agenda, fusing elements of tech, deep and more - inspired by the likes of PAWSA, Max Chapman, Blackchild, Marco Carola, Michael Bibi to name but a few.
Matthias is an avid producer, with releases growing in quality and increasingly renowned imprints. He has seen his music signed to Armada Deep, Time Has Changed, Dear Deer, Separat Musik and more throughout the last few years, with his music being supported by the likes of Detlef; Richy Ahmed, Farley & Heller, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, Claptone, Gene Farris and Damian Wilson (Cr2) among many others.
Growing in presence internationally year-on-year, Matthias has had the pleasure of gracing club spaces and festivals across Europe and further afield in abundance. Some of his most notable experiences include We Are FSTVL, ElRow Town Festival, Hi Ibiza, Ministry of Sound, Amnesia Milano, Privilege Ibiza and his long-term residency at Ibiza’s Jet Apartments complex.
Throughout his career, Matthias has been privileged to support some of the most iconic names in the industry. He has appeared on lineups with M.A.N.D.Y., Boris Werner, Andhim, Lauhaus, DJ Sneak, Tiefschwarz, Darius Syrossian, Heidi, Robert Dietz, Michel, Lenny Fontana, Luciano, Booka Shade and many more.
With plenty in the pipeline, including another exciting year as a resident on Data Transmission radio as well as plenty of releases and gigs on the horizon - the Separat Musik boss is continuing to stake his claim as one of Europe’s hottest up and coming artists.
